Charming and Fun
I was hesitant to pay for another indie escape puzzler, but I couldnt have spent $4 better than on the first game of this series. Its well produced, well considered, well made... Everything about this game is good. There are jokes all over that make me chuckle while trying to solve genuinely well made puzzles. Some games of this genre are so simple a literal blind person could solve them by randomly tapping, but this has actual thought put into it. I am so happy I found this series. Ill update this review as I progress. Best puzzle game Ive played since The Room 1-3.
This is so charmingly British I cant even talk about it without squeeing. Dials that go to 11, charming bathroom graffiti, philosophical piss-taking, it has everything youd want in an escape mystery puzzler. Ive been playing for an hour and Im hooked on the series already. It makes you remember, doesnt give you simple solutions by leaving everything you need in one room, and most importantly, is thoughtfully written. I love you, Glitch Games. Youve made me a fan for life.
Update: having finished the game in a couple of hours I can say that this is the best escape puzzler on iTunes, with the sole exception of The Room series. What separates this game from The Room is that this was created by only two people, and for that they deserve all of the kudos. I was hesitant about the price, and I wish theyd add all of the episodes into a bundle, but its certainly worth the cost as I cant imagine this was an easy game to create.
Thank you Glitch, I hope your efforts have been well rewarded with lots of money.
